Pool Technician
Hours: Full-time [45hrs/week]
Experience: min. 5 years in similar role
Role:
The primary purposes of this role is to twofold:
- To ensure all equipment and fittings used to run and maintain the pool is properly installed and fully operational once commissioned; and
- As required, investigate, assess, recommend, and implement appropriate solutions to situations where there has been pool &/or equipment failure, and circulation &/or water chemistry issues in a client pool.
Responsibilities:
- Pre-Installation Planning
- PVC Pipe work
- Electrical/Data Conduit/Cabling
- Filtration (including plantroom installation)
- Chlorination
- Electrical, Gas & Solar (including lights, heaters, blowers)
- Automation
- Cleaning Equipment
- Commissioning of Pool
- Handover to owner
- Close Out Project
Essential Skills:
- Available to work out of town.
- Full & current drivers licence.
- Strong organisation and motivated self-starter while being able to work under a multiple management structure.
- Time Management.
- Outstanding planning skills.
- Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem solving skills.
- At least five years plumbing or related experience.
- Has exceptional workmanship and quality in every aspect of their work.
Pool Builder
Hours: Full-time [45hrs/week]
Experience: min. 3 years in similar role
Role:
Build pool shells from set out to running the pipe work.
Responsibilities:
- Build pool shells and all associated works.
- Read plans, assess sites, implement H&S procedures.
- Liaise with required professionals like surveyors, geotechnical and structural engineers, council, builders, landscapers, and excavators.
- Organise materials and labour.
- Reporting to Construction Team Leader.
Skills:
- Good organisation and communication.
- At least three years construction experience.
- Demonstrated ability to profile & setout out sites to plan, box & steel, plumbing, and all general facets of pool building.
- Full & current drivers licence.
Labourer
Hours: Full-time [45hrs/week]
Experience: 1 year in similar role
Role:
General labouring in pool building and associated works.
Responsibilities:
- For general labouring you may be required to assist in the boxing, steel work, concreting, plumbing, rendering, tiling, and plastering areas under supervision.
- Labouring may include delivery of materials to sites, hand carrying materials, cleaning up sites, removal of unused materials and rubbish from site
- Keep sites, tools, vehicles clean & tidy.
Essential Skills:
- Good organisation and ability take instructions.
- Good listening and memory skills
- Demonstrates clear communication with team members, managers, suppliers and clients.
- Uses initiative when planning delivery routes.
- Class 1 Driver with current and full driver’s licence for manual vehicles
Driver / Storeperson
Hours: Part-time [30hrs/week]
Experience: min. 3 years in similar role
Role:
That the Morgan Pools depot is fully operational in order for the business to deliver a timely and high quality product to clients.
This will encompass looking after the physical depot; procurement, storage and delivery of materials, equipment & related items for each project as required; maintenance & repair of all plant, equipment and vehicles as required; and complete pre-construction tasks as required.
Responsibilities:
- Depot
- Conduct daily walkthroughs to ensure stock levels are maintained
- Ensure the depot is kept clean & tidy & meets all Health & Safety requirements
- Ensuring the depot opening & closing procedure is followed
- Ensure all waste material is disposed of appropriately
- Stock Procurement & Management
- Conduct regular stocktake’s of depot inventory
- Monitor & receive all inwards goods, putting these away & following up on late deliveries & managing any returns
- Overseeing all outwards goods
- Deliver materials and equipment to sites as required
- Stock administration & orders as required
- NOTE: this role requires heavy lifting and the use of pallet stacker moving pallets to and from delivery trucks
- Motor Vehicle, Plant and Equipment Records and Maintenance Schedules
- Ensure all company motor vehicles are up to date in respect to road user charges, warrants of fitness, servicing and repairs
- Ensure all equipment is clearly checked in/checked out so we know location of all plant and equipment and its safe return to the depot
- Ensure all equipment is appropriately tagged for onsite Health and Safety requirements as required
- Ensure all plant and equipment is serviced appropriately
- Pre-Construction Work
- Production of pre-construction work such as cut & bending steel and cutting timber posts for projects as required by project leaders
- Project support as required by the directors
Skills:
Essential:
- Excellent level pf physical fitness (pre-employment assessment will be required)
- Well organised and can handle multiple priorities
- Excellent time keeping
- Able to respond quickly and efficiently when priorities changes on a regular basis
- Self-starter and can work unsupervised
- Clear written and verbal communication skills
- Full & current Class 1 drivers licence for manual vehicles
Preferable:
- Experience in operating in a storehouse type role
- Experience in handling and use forklifts and pallet stacking machinery
- Current forklift licence
- Current Class 2 licence
- An eye for systems
Office Administrator
Hours: Part-time [20hrs/week]
Experience: min. 3-5 years in similar role
Role:
To provide administration support for the Project Coordinators and company Directors (office based)
Responsibilities:
- Project set ups and H&S Documentation – SSSP, SiteAppPro, Slack, project folders & boards
- File & Data Management – Data entry, digital & physical filing, project files etc
- Provide administration/project support – Preparing & maintaining documentation, stock orders, booking inspections, site deliveries etc.
- General office coordination – stationery, kitchen supplies, couriers etc
- Organise travel & accommodation as required
- Assist in organising staff events, meetings & training
- Ensuring office and kitchen areas are kept tidy
- General office maintenance ensuring a tidy and organised showroom
- Assisting with facility, office or building enquiries
- General administrative work as required
Skills:
Essential:
- Well organised and can handle multiple priorities

- A great work ethic, problem-solving skills & ability to use initiative
- Able to respond quickly and efficiently when priorities change regularly

Preferable:
- Experience with Xero & WorkflowMax preferred
- Able to learn systems and products & processes with ease
- Able to use MS Excel spreadsheets and formulas for data reporting
